Stamped Concrete vs. Pavers: Which Is Right for You?

Both work well for patios and paths. Your choice is mostly about budget, how you want it to look, and how you plan to handle repairs later.

Stamped concrete

• Usually lower cost over large, open areas
• One continuous surface — fewer joints for weeds
• Many color and pattern options; reseal every few years to keep color fresh

Pavers

• Single pavers can be replaced if one chips or stains
• Good traction; joints need occasional maintenance
• Higher labor cost than poured concrete for the same area
